Before Jason can even get in the door from work each day, Drew is running outside to give him a big hug and ask him to push her on her swing. Since learning to pump her legs and not need someone to push her, she's given me a break. But not Jason. She's made sure that he's still on pushing duty when he's around.

Drew loves craft projects and whenever she and I have time to do something just the two of us, she asks what we can do together that is crafty. Today, we decided to make a garland during Eli's naptime. She cut, looped and glued for almost 2 straight hours and we made a garland for our tree and one for her room to drape along the posts of her canopy bed. It was really fun and I think she did a great job!

Making Gingerbread Cookies

We made gingerbread cookies this morning. This is the first time ever I have tried doing them on my own without the help of my mother who actually knows what she's doing (hi mom!). But thank goodness I had Drew to help. She claims when she grows up, she wants to be a baker. I figure that's the next best thing to having my mom to help me - a future baker to help me!

Nervous?

Jason reminded me this evening as we were talking about Drew and how cute her concert was last night and how wonderfully she did, that she said something very funny right before the concert.

We went out for a little snack and some coffee before dropping her off at her classroom. While sitting there, I said "are you nervous?" and she looked at me like I have 12 heads and said "Nervous? What's nervous?" Pretty much sums up cutie jumps in feet first Drewbie. Then I laughed and said, "Nevermind. Are you excited?"

"Yes, very excited"

Drew's School Christmas Concert

Drew had her school Christmas concert tonight. She was so excited and after being sick over the weekend, we were glad she was feeling better today so she could go.
