A Date
After dinner tonight, I took Drew on a date. We went for ice cream and a walk on the beach. And by walk, I mean getting as wet as possible by running through the waves.

Happy
We got home from NY very very early this morning. Drew didn't waste anytime today heading outside to play on the tire swing that Jason put up for her while we were away.
Photog Jason
On our last day at the cottage, Jason decided to finally snap some photos of his own. Lots of the kids playing and a few of Drew and me together. These and most of the photos below of the kids are taken by none other than Jason.
Heron
A young heron decided to get comfortable in front of the cottage for a few days. He stood there for almost 24 hours before finally venturing around and down to the lake to find food. We think he was just young and confused and looking for his family. Eli thought he was pretty neat as long as he was a safe distance away.
Berry Hunt
One of our last days at the cottage, we went for a hike together to berry hunt. Drew was very into it. Ate many more raspberries than put them in the basket.

Lake Picnic
Yesterday was the lake picnic. It only lasted an hour because of storms but long enough to eat some summer yummy food and for Drew to help break open the pinata.
