Sea World!

Took Drew and Eli to Sea World on Wednesday. Drew loved it and Eli hung out in the sling most of the day. Drew went on her first rollercoaster ride, saw the Shamu show, saw penguins, sharks, polar bears, sea lions, walruses, and other fun sea life. She and I got to see friends too. A very fun time.

Sleeping Angel

Ballet Dress

Drew's Grandma Joanne sent a box full of goodies for the kiddos this week. She knows Drew quite well. Nothing would've made this girl happier than this ballet dress. She's had it on since she opened it and is in full ballet mode doing twirls.

The men in my life...

Always a helper...

Drew is big on helping. She likes to help with anything and everything we are doing. She is especially helpful with Eli. Wants to make sure he's happy at all times. If he starts to cry, she runs to the rescue and sings "twinkle twinkle little star" in an effort to "make him feel better".

So, we're in the car the other day and he's asleep. He wakes up and is extremely mad that he's in his carseat. Drew starts singing as usual and he just keeps crying. She finally gives up and says "Mommy, I'm having trouble making Eli feel better. I'm going to need you to nurse him."

LOL.

I got quite the chuckle out of that.

A Lazy Saturday...

2 Weeks Old!

And the little guy is changing everyday! He's awake a ton now and just the sweetest mellow guy. He had his two week checkup on Monday and he's growing like a weed. 21 1/2" long now (2 inches in 13 days!!) and 8 pounds even.

We've had a turbulent week with sickness and crankies going around the house but all is well and we're very happy.
